About ACR: Credentials

Knowledge is Power.

The restoration industry originated using common sense and the understanding of property damage at that time. As time went on, a more and more decisive knowledge base about drying and cleaning methods was documented and distributed to those restoration companies that chose to be leaders in efficiency and skill.

 

The two primary organizations that serve as governing bodies in the restoration field are the IICRC (Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification) and the RIA (Restoration Industry Association). Together, they provide education in top level protocol restoration. Each group offers intensive certification classes and programs that give restoration professionals the most advanced knowledge possible in mitigating losses of any kind.
